POST PRODUCTION
Post production is a nice way of saying all the hard work. Post includes but is not limited to: capture, transcode, catalog, assemble, edit proper, score, down mix audio, title, and graphics, export, transcode (again) and output (as file, tape or DVD). Simple, right?
CAPTURE
All media is captured to individual external drives. The edit itself will take advantage of the Final Cut Studio suite of audio and video tools.
GRAPHICS
Should graphics, animation or CG be required, I have assembled a custom suite of powerful tools that best allow me to visualize your ideas either in 2D, 3D or both.
MUSIC
I subscribe to several musical licensing services. My favorite is Magnatune. We can audition licensed tracks or if necessary contract original music at very reasonable rates.

SUPERVISION
Edits can be supervised or done remotely by either email or phone. Approval cuts can be easily distributed via email or FTP. Many clients prefer a “hands off” approach, freeing them to tend to other more pressing matters. Others prefer to supervise the edit and play with my extensive action figure collection. Action figures billed separately.
THE FINAL CUT
Once we have a final cut, I can immediately send out approval DVD or tape copies. Typically I will include up to five DVDs at no charge. Tapes will be made available at market cost with no duplication fee up to five units.
DUPLICATION
Duplication is available in bulk rates. Currently I use paper labels. Printed labels are available in large orders for a small fee.
ARCHIVING
Once the project is finished, everything is archived to hard disk where it will live in perpetuity. I never delete media. Other facilities back up the key elements to tape but typically do not retain Photoshop files, text files or anything else used in the completion of your project. By comparison, I retain all project files, video footage, media files, still images, project files from other source material. I also retain all email correspondence, scripts or written instructions used in the completion of your project.

PROJECT RESSURECTION
Should you need a project to be revised even years after completion, I can revive it exactly as it stood when the final cut was approved. I do not charge for storage and actively maintain my archives. No one maintains a more comprehensive project archive than I do. Everything I need to return to work is saved.
