Digital composites have revolutionized the post production industry. Previously only chromakey offered the ability to layer and combine electronic images. The results were cumbersome to produce, easy to identify and utterly unconvincing. Today new tools allow the seasoned artist to produce undetectable marriages of anything the camera can capture. The only limits are imagination and time. I offer a full suite of composite tools and technology and twenty years of experience in composite effects and composite photography. |
Miniature Effects remain the most convincing way to create fantastic or immensely impractical images. The main benefit of miniature photography is that a model will react to environmental factors like light, haze and moisture accurately and in real time. A basic rule of thumb is that the larger the model, the more convincing the final shot will be. In most cases however, a huge model is not necessary. I have broad experience with miniature effects for motion pictures and television and can quickly suggest the most efficient and affordable solution for your project. |

Matte Paintings are a traditional special effects process involving manipulation or reproduction of real two dimensional environments. Digital tools now make photo realistic alteration of real locations more effective and far more convincing. Often the digital matte is the most efficient and most effective way to sell the shot you have in mind. |
